Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

Nemo Lab is local-first. Meeting data stays in Chrome storage on your computer and is not uploaded by Nemo Lab.

Nemo Lab is a Chrome extension that captures Microsoft Teams Web live captions and meeting context so users can review, edit, copy, and export a source transcript.

Data Nemo Lab Handles

Nemo Lab does not intentionally collect health, financial, payment, authentication, location, browsing-history, or user-activity data.

How Data Is Used

Data is used only to create a local transcript, allow corrections, attach notes or optional images, copy or export meeting context, and recover pending transcript lines after an interruption.

Local Storage and Retention

Meeting records are stored in Chrome extension-local IndexedDB and local storage. Meetings remain until the user deletes them. Deleted meetings stay recoverable for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.

Transmission and Sharing

Nemo Lab does not upload meeting data, transmit it to the developer, send it to AI providers, sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Users control any subsequent sharing after they explicitly copy, export, or download content.

Clipboard and Screenshots

Clipboard access is optional and one-time: Nemo Lab reads it only after the user invokes Save Clipboard. Screenshot access is optional and captures the visible tab only after an explicit user action.

Audio, Camera, Accounts, and Analytics

Nemo Lab does not record audio, access microphone or camera streams, require an account, collect analytics, or use remote executable code. All executable code is packaged with the extension.

User Controls

Users can stop or resume capture, edit transcripts, delete or restore meetings, export data, revoke optional permissions, and uninstall the extension.

Limited Use

Nemo Lab limits its use of user data to its disclosed single purpose. It does not sell data, use it for personalized advertising, transfer it for unrelated purposes, use it for creditworthiness or lending, or permit the developer or other humans to read meeting data.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when required, disclosed in Nemo Lab before new data practices begin.
